About Us - A Brief History

Established in 1949, Chas Mann and his wife Nellie opened their first shop on The Green Kings Norton, Birmingham, selling cycles. The business grew, earning a reputation for good value and service.

In the late 1960’s, Chas and his son Mike Mann built new premises just across the road from the original shop. Selling Triumph, BSA, Mobylette and Raleigh bikes; Honda soon appeared on the scene followed by Suzuki and Yamaha marques.

The business is still family run by Mark and Pam Andrews. Mark worked with Chas and Mike from the age of 16 and has over 30 years of experience in the motorcycle industry.

Chas Mann Motorcycles now sell a variety of brands including:-

• Piaggio and Vespa - the top Italian brands;
• Sym and Kymco - the top brands from Taiwan;
• Keeway - the European designed brand built in China;
• Hyosung - from South Korea;
• The famous Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

All offering style, reliability and affordability to the commuter or pleasure motorcyclist.

Our range covers 50cc scooters to Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
